Knut holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from NTNU (1993) and brings extensive and broad experience, both as a design engineer and from various leadership roles. Most of his career has been with Rambøll in Trondheim, where he has served as Head of Discipline and Department Manager for Buildings and Facilities.
 
The Trondheim office, now with 30 employees, serves as a strong regional hub and demonstrates the ability to attract and develop relevant expertise. Its growth signals a successful approach to building culture, professional communities, and customer relationships over time.  We cover a wide range of expertise within structural engineering, marine engineering, geotechnics, environmental consulting, and hydrology. The project portfolio is primarily linked to all types of buildings, transportation infrastructure, industry and ports, dams, marine and offshore structures, including aquaculture and renewable energy.
