Dr.techn.Olav Olsen has achieved national and international recognition for their exceptional professional performance within the area of concept development for the offshore sector.

Conceptual studies

The company has performed more than 700 conceptual studies of offshore structures, more than 17 of these have been built. Our concept development concentrates on the development of products that will satisfy the demands of future offshore oil and gas fields.

Wide experience

We hold wide experience in a broad range of research and concept development projects, conducted internally as well as in cooperation with Norwegian and international research institutions.
We have experience from technically challenging advisory and design projects, and hold significant specialist knowledge in the fields of structures, materials and hydrodynamics.
 

Submerged Tunnel

This is a concept for the crossing of waterways, utilising bouyancy to carry the bridge structure.
