Technical Standards
Through the years, Dr.techn.Olav Olsen a.s has been heavily involved in the development and revision of technical standards for use in Norway and internationally. Due to our in-depth knowledge of the properties and use of concrete in construction, a number of these works have naturally been concentrated on the developments of design standards for the use of this material.

Guidance Notes
These guidance notes comment on the Norwegian Standards NS3490, NS3491 and NS3491-3. They are an aid to improve the understanding and use of these. Use of the notes is based on the fact that the designer already has knowledge of the relevant standards and its design. The guidance notes are not intended to replace the standards it comments upon.
