Offshore Structures
Dr.techn.Olav Olsen a.s have been active designers of offshore structures since the early 1970s. The company performs a variety of services from conceptual studies to detailed design. Around 700 concepts have been undertaken by the company, and Dr.techn.Olav Olsen a.s have performed the detailed design of more than 20 offshore oil and gas installations that are now in operation.
Concrete structures
Offshore concrete structures such as the Condeep platforms have been the company's trademark since the seventies. The company recently completed design of the 2 Sakhalin II platforms for Aker Kværner, in collaboration with other engineering companies.
Steel structures
As well as being a specialist advisor on offshore concrete structures, the company holds extensive experience in the design of offshore steel structures.

Dr.techn.Olav Olsen a.s have a unique experience within concept development, having created several of the world's largest and most impressive structures.

Sakhalin
The Sakhalin II Project involves installation of an offshore platform on the Piltun feature of the Piltun Astoskhskoye field and the installation of a single large platform at the Lunskoye gas field.
Dr.techn.Olav Olsen a.s has managed the civil engineering team for the concrete design, and have provided a number of Site Representatives in Nahodka, Russia.
